Christmas market

On Friday we headed to the German christmas market in Southampton. As I have been to the actual christmas market in Germany, my expectations were kinda low. But it's nice to be a little bit wrong sometimes. It wasn't that amazing, but it did have that nice feel. I absolutely love the smell of food - a little bit of crepes, doughnuts and of course sausages. Obviously it didn't smell like sausages, but I just can't explain it. It's something you have to experience. But for once, food wasn't our main reason to be there. The boys wanted to try the Beer tent and even though Glühwein (or mulled wine) is absolutely disgusting, I did have a good time. After two cups of Gühwein, I changed to hot chocolate with Baileys and was well satisfied and pleased with my choise.
Next saturday we will be heading to the christmas market in Winchester. I'm kinda excited, as Winchester is one of my favourite places in England. I also want to go ice skating, but I'm not sure if I actually wanna pay to do it, especially if it's crowded. Let's just hope it's cold enough to be able to do that in Finland.

I think I also managed to catch some kind of flu, so I'm just gonna head to bed and have a good night sleep, and hopefully wake up feeling better.

Ps. The reason I changed my language to english is, because my computer is broken so I'm using Adam's at the moment. Not keen on writing without the umlauts (I actually start talking without umlauts as well if use them long enough.), so english is a good choice and also a good way to practice my written skills.
