I was so tempted to get these snowman fairylights! |
As I briefly mentioned in my previous post, on Saturday we celebrated Adam's gran's birthday. After spending the afternoon at Jane Austen's house, we headed to Winchester for christmas market and dinner. The one in Southampton was ok, but Winchester was just amazing! It does help that it's also a lot nicer city as well.
I don't have an awful lot of pictures from the actual market as it was so packed you could barely move! There was an actual queue to get in there (it was free though), because it was so busy. I would love to go there again before we go to Finland, but don't think there's enough time. I can't believe how quick the time flies (only 9 days left!). I saw so many nice things I wanted to buy, but sadly didn't have enough money on me. Although, I did make some cheeky little purchases for christmas. Will be showing them later as I'm gonna give some of them for my family and they read this blog occasionally. Don't wanna ruin a surprise, now do I?
I love Winchester in general but have only seen it in the summer. It looked so magical with all the lights around the city and I swear it did snow at some point. I'm 100% positive I saw snowflakes.
I would recommend everyone to check the christmas market in Winchester, it's so worth all the hype! Just ignore the crowd and take deep breath of that lovely smell of gluhwein and doughnuts etc.
